Take a sailing course in Greece and enjoy the Greek islands in the sun with a full range of courses to choose from for complete beginners through to experienced sailors. You can also combine a sailing course with a flotilla holiday or a bareboat charter and with a recognised sailing qualification return to the Greek islands again or visit other sailing destinations in the Mediterranean and beyond.

Sailing courses are run at a relaxed pace, usually over 6 days and the yacht is available for 7 nights. When you arrive at the training centre base on the Greek island of Lefkas you will be introduced to your Seafarer Training instructor, shown to your yacht and are free to relax for the night with your family or friends or mix with other students. The British RYA instructors are chosen for their relaxed and informal approach and they will ensure that your Greek islands sailing course is a valuable and fun learning experience.
Evening meals are usually spent in one of the many tavernas, often meeting with the Ionian flotilla group enjoying the same Greek island sailing route as the training yachts. For families, children have a chance to meet other kids and enjoy the social side of a sailing holiday.
If you are a beginner or would like to gain more experience and qualifications with your family or friends hiring a tuition yacht for your exclusive use with a sailing instructor makes an ideal sailing holiday.
Courses are tailored to meet the needs of all the crew whatever their abilities. When you exclusively hire a training yacht your family or friends choose whether they want to take a formal course or not - it's entirely up to each individual. With five people per yacht this gives time for individual tuition and attention to all on board.
Individuals, couples or smaller groups who do not need exclusive use of a yacht can opt for a cabin on a training yacht and share with up to 4 other people. Students are accommodated in shared cabins/berths with options for sole occupancy. With a maximum of five people per yacht this gives time for individual tuition and attention to all on board.
